The apartment is located in the Bavarian Vorwald, 15 km north of the World Heritage Site of Regensburg, in Bernhardswald. There are many opportunities for hiking, including the Höllbach Valley. Cultural attractions are also nearby, such as the Walhalla, numerous castles, and the Bavarian Museum, among others. Bicycle tours are possible in many different directions. Good shopping options are within one kilometer (Netto, Edeka). There are plenty of pharmacies and medical services available. Day trips to the Bavarian Forest—such as to Egidi-Buckel—are possible.
